1. Smith Brothers is a Certified Lead Safety Contractor and will comply with all EPA RRP lead safe work practices!
   
2. Smith Brothers start by washing the exterior surfaces of the house. Often it it necessary to treat the siding with mold killing agents.
3. The Repaint Pros then cover your shrubbery and walkways to contain any falling paint chips.
   
4. Then comes scraping of any loose or peeling paint. (Houses built prior to 1978 may require wet scraping and other lead safe practices!)
5. The Repaint Pros then sand the affected areas to feather out the old paint for a more uniform appearance.
   
6. Caulking is the next important step to weatherize, and protect the siding and trim at vulnerable areas.
7. Smith Brothers always then Prime over any and all bare or new wood to increase adhesion and lengthen longevity of top coats.
8. Next comes the Paint! We utilize many application methods- Hand brushing, rolling, spraying. Getting a uniform appearance is important.
9. Second coats are then put on as needed for longevity, uniformity, color coverage and contract obligations.
10. Finally clean up and the Exterior Painting is compete. But The Repaint Pros arent quite done yet!
